Fashion Shoot for House of Lacuna

I had the pleasure of photographing House Of Lacunas new collection recently,  ethical fashion label for the soulful, mindful woman, designed by the talented Naomi Swalwell.

The brand name, House of Lacuna, means “New Space” in Latin, perfectly reflecting Naomi’s vision of intentional, timeless pieces.

We captured campaign-style photos, e-commerce shots, and brand photography for socials  that reflects the personality and style of the label.

Oh my goodness, it was such a dream shoot!

Everything came together perfectly. To create a great fashion shoot, it’s all about teamwork, every detail counts, from the location, models, hair and makeup, lighting, to the styling.

We shot  in Newcastle, and honestly, it felt like we’d stepped straight into Italy but with a touch of the Australian landscape. The soft European architecture, painted walls, and elegant furnishings paired with the golden  light created the perfect mix of Italian-inspired romance and relaxed Aussie vibes.

The Tuscany dress, House of Lacuna’s best-selling piece, is so beautiful and timeless. Naomi has made it in a few new colours for the season, and how cute is the pink gingham set?

I think that might be one of my favourites… which one is yours?

The images we created work both as ecommerce photos that show the clothes clearly and as campaign images that capture a feeling, you can imagine wearing the pieces. They also provide Naomi with versatile brand photography for her social media, ads, newsletters, PR  and more.

We were a total dream team on the day. Chloe from Mini Models Talent  , Lee Hanly created stunning  hair and makeup, Naomi styled the outfits with jewellery from Lanamara, and the cutest hats from Lorna Murray finished the looks perfectly.

Photography by me Ingrid Photography based in Terrigal Central Coast.

House of Lacuna is based on the Central Coast, NSW, and it was great to capture these pieces nearby while showcasing the brand’s focus on timeless, ethical fashion here in Australia.

Love & Light
