I recently had the pleasure of working with WLM, an accounting firm based in Sydney’s CBD. This shoot was all about highlighting the fun and teamwork at their office. We captured professional headshots, lifestyle portraits, and group shots to really showcase the energy and collaboration within the team. It was great to see everyone stepping up as “models” for the day, doing their best to create great portraits that felt natural, yet professional.

The Shoot
We aimed to create a large library of images that WLM could use across various marketing channels. Katrina did an amazing job organizing everything with a detailed shoot plan, which is key to making these kinds of photography shoots efficient. Her preparation allowed us to capture a wide range of shots in a short amount of time. She even handpicked the “models” from the team to reflect their brand’s authenticity, making sure everyone had their time in front of the camera.

We focused on capturing vibrant lifestyle shots that showed the team in action. While the images might look casual and relaxed, there was a lot of thought put into the planning to make sure everything looked just right.

A Library of Photos
By the end of the day, we had built a great collection of photos for WLM to use across different platforms, including:

• Headshots: Perfect for LinkedIn profiles and team bios.
• Group Photos: Great for team pages, company announcements, newsletters, and blog posts.
• Lifestyle Shots: These capture the work culture and are ideal for social media, case studies, and more.

I also captured B-roll footage that can be used for social media reels, giving them even more content to work with for there marketing .

Final Thoughts
The photography shoot was not only productive but also a lot of fun. I was so impressed with how well the team did in front of the camera—it was like they were professional models! We shared plenty of laughs throughout the day, which made the whole process even more enjoyable. It’s always amazing to see how professional photos can help a company connect with its clients and tell its story in a genuine way.
